Acknowledgements

William Palmer [Sam's grandson] who began this research in the first instance and greatly contributed to the discovery of many relations.  He provided newspaper articles and photographs.

Heather Palmer Williamson [Sam's great granddaughter] who ordered certificates and proofread the family tree.

Mike McCracken [Sam's great great grandson] and his girlfriend Brittany McCain who sent us a lot of information and photographs of the McCracken family and who inspired us to research further and document this as a web page.
